Wires & Cables

We are counted among the leading manufacturers and suppliers of a wide array of Wires and Cables. All our products are manufactured under the close supervision of experienced professionals using high-grade material. The material used in the production process is sourced from vendors of high repute. Our range is applauded for its excellent performance, fire resistance, fine finishing, durability and high strength.

Wire and cable are used to describe the same thing, but they are actually quite different. Wire is a single electrical conductor, whereas a cable is a group of wires swathed in sheathing. The term cable originally referred to a nautical line of multiple ropes used to anchor ships, and in an electrical context, cables (like wires) are used to carry electrical currents.

FAQs

1.How many wires are there inside electricity cables?

They feature three plain stranded copper wires (one wire for the current, one grounding wire and one neutral wire) that are insulated with cross-linked polyethylene, PVC bedding and a black PVC sheathing.

2.How are cables classified?

It typically consists of three conductors – a "hot" wire that carries the current, alongside a grounding wire and a neutral wire. Underground feeder cable is quite similar but supplies more power and has groups of wires insulated together. Electrical cable can also be classified by the amount of voltage it carries.
